Should I disable Mesh
Hi I have 3 WAX610 in my house and they are all connected via POE back to a switch. Should I be disabling the mesh setting in insight since they are all hardwired back to the switch? I would thi...

The mesh allows devices to roam seamlessly. Why would you want to disable it?

In automatic mesh mode it doesn't seem to associate the devices correctly(root/extender). If I assign them and get them running it's fine but if I lose power and they come up out of order they literally go in an endless reboot process until I manually change the order they boot in. I don't think they should do this but that's what has been happening.

Hi bcre3306,
Since all 3 WAX610 are connected via wired connections, enabling Mesh Mode on Insight isn't necessary. Mesh Mode is typically used to extend WiFi coverage beyond the range of a single AP without the need for additional cables.

Hi RennaD
Will I lose the ability to use fast roaming if I do this? Basically I don't want them to act as three separate SSID's where they don't handoff from one to another seemlessly.
Thank you
Brian
