Turn off "Enable Neighbor AP" in Insight ?
Hello all, Does anyone know how to turn off "Enable Neighbor AP" in the Insight UI? I have noticed that enabling this feature causes regular packet loss (1-5 packets every few minutes) on the WA...

Thanks for the reply!
I tried what you proposed before I stared this topic/discussion. What happens is that when you again rejoin Insight, it just reconfigures the device and puts back the "Enable Neighbor AP".
I will followup as you propose with the feature request and support tickets.

WAC and WAX are factory reset and default values are pushed by Insight ...
The UI seems to imply that the level can be changed - the [Cancel] and [Apply] buttons become active if changing away from the default ... but it can't be stored.
Would be great if the enforcement by Insight to the Insight default would be removed, and the "tick" to enable/disable the neighbor scan could be adjusted accordingly.
YeZ - as discussed in the chat, thank you!

PS. Neighbor checking is always intrusive, there will be always a short downtime in the radio communication. That's why high end business systems come with additional radios or allow to configure dedicated APs for Neighbor scanning only.

Thanks. Unfortunately, Insight doesnt' provide an option to do The "neighbor AP" scanning only on a few devices or channels. It's just on for all channels, all wifi access points. I plan to put in a feature request to ask for the ability to turn Neighbor AP scanning off completely or perhaps as you suggest, perform that scanning only on certain channels or devices.

Correct. Making it happen (enable/disable, set the intensity) on the local WAC5xx/WAX6xx Web UI would be much easier than having it on Insight. in whatever complexity level.

...and on the default intensity. Correct.

Have attempted to push this AP-based config for the moment with Netgear already.
