Default Config file for a GSM4230PX and GSM4248PX
Hello, I am looking to configure a few switches for an upcoming project but do not have access to the physical switches to grab their default config files.
I am hoping someone here could share the default configs for a GSM4230PX and a GSM4248PX.
Thanks in advance!
Unfortunately, Netgear doesn't provide downloadable "default config files" for their switches like the GSM4230PX and GSM4248PX. To get the default settings, you'll need to consult the detailed user manuals on the Netgear support website, which outline all factory defaults including IP addresses (e.g., 192.168.0.239 for OOB), login credentials (admin/no password initially), basic VLANs, and default multicast cat language translator app configurations like IGMP Plus. Alternatively, once you access a physical switch, perform a factory reset and then either browse the Web GUI or use CLI commands like show running-config to view and copy the default settings.
