ABSTRACT: The trend of moving matrix switching into the Ethernet network is inevitable, and AV-over-IP technologies like SDVoE and others already deliver capabilities far beyond that of a traditional matrix switcher. As AV-over-IP systems become ever larger, a new class of network switches has come to market.  This training class will help you compare and contrast the flexibility and scalability of an Ethernet network against the traditional matrix switcher, learn about a new class of 100G and 10G Ethernet switches offering powerful NETGEAR IGMP Plus™, and understand IGMP Multicast to easily configure a network accommodating massive AV over IP systems.
