Do Newest Orbi systems have VLAN tagging for Wifi Clients?
I've seen notes from 2019 that Vlan tags cannot be applied to wifi client devices. Has this changed? If not, why not? What exactly is the point of having 3 SSIDs? Is this for only for throttling?
Where are you looking at this advertising at?
Only thing really tied to the WAN side is the Guest Network, and this would be isolated from the main LAN side.

Orbi Pro systems are the only ones that have VLAN tagging for wifi.
Home class systems don't have VLAN tagging for wifi. They have the main WLAN, Guest Network and now a separate IoT network for those problematic IoT devices.

Orbi Pro doesn't seem to be available anywhere, and why not include the feature in the latest Orbi 7xx and 9xx?
Plus, the IoT network has full visibility to the rest of the LAN, so what protection does it offer?
Not much all for VLAN with wifi in the home. Ya maybe for some advanced users but home home users want a system to setup easily and just run with out hassles. Most VLAN stuff is used in more office or business class environments mostly.
IoT network wasn't supposed to be isolated. If it was, then the IoT apps would be be able to communicate with there devices from the main WLAN. IoT was only implemented so users could get IoT devices connected to MESH systems only due to long history of users complain that they couldn't due to IoT Mfr lack and design and support of there devices and setup software that they seem to refuse to make work across both 2.4 and 5Ghz since these happen to be both on the same network.
NG choose to put in features where they decide and where they think the market will gain them profit. It's all up to them.
Orbi Pro - introduced in summer 2017 with the SRK60 Orbi Pro AC3000 WiFi 5 Tri-Band WiFi System, and continued with the SXK80 Orbi Pro AX6000 WiFi 6 Tri-Band WLAN-System in September of 2020, extended by the SXK30 Orbi Pro WiFi 6 Mini AX1800 WLAN-System early May 2021, ans soon after the SXK50 Orbi Pro WiFi 6 AX5400 Tri-Band Mesh-System - all allowed wireless and wired backhaul, supporting multiple VLANs and SSIDs.
Time to revise your incomplete notes now?
Orbi was and still is a consumer Mesh system.
Honestly, I don't know why I'm still wasting my know how and unpaid time here in a community to business not honoring the community efforts of their community members and highly active Beta testers - even if I never got any single Orbi Pro system to review and testing in real world.
