SXR50 router solid magneta
Since a couple of days (maybe since the latest Insight update on March 17th?) the LED bar on the router is solid magneta. Ans also "Basic", "Home" in the router's web interface says: "Internet Err...

Hmm, I cannot remember switching the cable <FRIT!ZBox modem to Orbi router> from WAN to LAN port in the Orbi router.
But when I switched it back to the WAN port in the Orbi router, both the magneta light and the error message disappear

The router is configured as access point behind FRIT!ZBox 7590.
Both satellites SXS50 are connected to the router and internet is available throughout the network.
When the router announces "Not Connected", this is a signal that some specific web resource is not responding to the router's attempt to connect. It's not the entire internet, only some specific URL or IP address. The same software that creates this status message also turns on the bright magenta light. When every device on the network has Internet, it's sort of stupid for the router to warn that there is no connection.
Not having a "business system", I am unfamiliar with Insight support options. (We residential customers enjoy our 90 days of 'complimentary support' and then either pay for a Gear Head subscription or turn to the user forums.) Are you allowed to ask questions of Netgear?
I'm assuming you did the usual, "Turn everything off and back on again" routine?

Hi and thanks for your input.
Me too, I only had 90 does of support 🙂
So no, I am not allowed either to ask for support unfortunately.
And yes\, I already did the "usual"
Maybe I can dig into the logs for "some specific web resource is not responding to the router's attempt to connect"
To be continued...
