SXS80 only broadcasting Wireless1
Hi - Hope someone can help?
I have an SXR80 router, SXS80 satellite and SXS30 satellite. I have been using the SXR80 for quite a while but am only now adding the SXS80 and SXS30 to the mesh.
I have all units connected and taking to each other (all are updated to latest firmware). However, whilst the SXR80 is broadcasting Wireless1 (Admin), Wireless2 (Employee), and Wireless2 (IOT), the SXS80 and SXS30 only seem to be broadcasting Wireless1. From the UIs it does not look like they are extending the Employee network.
This seems pretty stupid. No-one would want a mesh system that only extends the Admin network, leaving employees with weak or no WiFi signals!
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for any advice.

Netgear shows these units as being compatible:

Is it possible to determine which firmware release is on each of the units? It could be that the router firmware has been updated while the satellites were happily waiting in the box to join the party.
- Chippy_boyAspirantInteresting compatibility chart - thanks. So maybe my SXS30 is not going to work - although it is relaying Wireless1.
But the SXR80 and SXS80 came together as a kit from Netgear, so it's unsurprising that they ARE compatible!
And they are both on latest firmware.
At the moment the only workaround I can think of is to repurpose Wireless1 as Employee and switch Wireless2 to Admin.. which is not too much if a hardship since I only do admin from a PC in the office, connected over ethernet. But it does mean no mesh for IOT nor Guest networks, which am sure it not what Netgear intend. The SXS80 is supposed to extend ALL the wireless channels. The Last Resort for Orbi systems is to perform a Factory Reset and reconfiguration. Sometimes "starting over" gets rid of some mysterious garbage and problems go away.
