Do I need both programs to keep my tablets, phones and computers safe.

If you believe the marketing spiel then the world will come to en and if you don't use these tools. They just want your money.
Many of us find them intrusive and unnecessary. We keep our software and systems up to date. We don't do stupid things on line.
