Armor for R8500?
Hi, am looking for Armor Firmware update for R8500. I am ready to switch from Norton to Armor, but, need to know if it is supported on R8500 to begin with. Also, if I buy Bitdefender Family Pack now for $$, and later on Netgear releases Armor, will it be free for me as I already got Bitdefender Family Pack? I read that Armor includes Bitdefender Family Pack in its subscription by default which will then be of no use in my scenario and I will end up in double payment to Bitdefender too. Thanks.

I would also like to know this, i feel like this router is left out of all the other nighthawk "upgrades" with it missing the Disney Circle firmware. I almost wish i would have bought the cheaper X6 or X4 instead of the X8

Currently only R7000P is supported by NETGEAR Armor. We will provide any update once it is available to other routers.
- Are they having problems with Armor? It was first mentioned in January but there’s still no release. I am particularly interested in getting it for the Orbi. How much longer? We really need better security options.
