Armor on RBR50 on a AT&T fiber network
I have switched to an AT&T fiber and am using their modem, a BGW320-505.
My understanding is that the RBR50 has to be in AP mode as a backend to the AT&T device. This really neuters many RBR50 features.
I am realizing that my Armor subscription is active but turned off in AP Mode.
Is there a better configuration that will allow me the protection I paid for with Armor? Not bitching, but I was counting on Armor to keep my family's growing device list, which Armor did.

Yes. AP mode does disable various features on a router.

You have a couple of options. The easiest is to put your AT&T modem into bridge/passthrough mode:
bridge mode bgw320 505 - Google Search
This disables the router bit of the AT&T device.
Doing that might disable something useful on the BGW320-505. You'll have to investigate that.
Another option, which lets the two routers coexist as routers, is to look for instructions on how to put the RBR50 into the "DMZ" of the BGW320-505. That's a bit more complicated. So work out which option gives you the best performance.
