Cannot connect to Robot Vacuum after Armor Plus subscription

Hello,

Yesterday I have subscribed to Armor Plus for my Orbi WiFi Mesh RBR760.

I am now unable to manage / start any of my home robot vacuum cleaners.  When I want to see the maps I get an error "data acquisition failed".

If I disable Netgear Armor it doesn't fix the problem.  I need to uninstall the app from my devices (iphone and ipad) to be able to manage the robot vacuums again.

Any idea what's going on?

Many thanks for your help.

  • Hello all, I would like to mention the issue is resolved.

I have uninstalled Netgear Armour and the Roomba iRobot and Roborock apps, then reinstalled Netgear Armour and then the robot vacuum apps again.  In the case of Roborock it worked right away, in case of the Roomba iRobot I had to do a reset of the vacuum robot and after the first run the map was visible again.

Happy to report all good and this thread can be closed.  Many thanks for your input, FURRY and Plemans.

    What robot is it?

Are you using IPv6? My robot vacuums had issues on IPv6 with ad blocking

  • Hello plemans,

It's the Roomba 981.  I was working perfectly well before I started using Armor Plus.  Nothing changed with regard to my network settings.  I'm using IP4 and IP6 is disabled.

  • Hi FURRYe38

I've reset the robot and will give it a whirl tomorrow and see if it creates a new map.  Otherwise I will check with bitdefender support.  Thank you for the link.

Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

        Hello FURRYe38,

Thanks for the tip about backing up the configuration.  I will follow up on that.  And I will mark the thread as solved.  Thanks again.
