Can't renew Armor subscription

The Armor security protection (Bitdefender?) on my ORBI app is telling me that my year free trial expires today.   For the past couple of weeks, an offer for a 35% discount on renewal has been displayed in the app, but when I tap on it, it comes back with a "contract already purchased" message, and doesn't let me proceed.  I thought perhaps I just had to wait until the day of expiration (which is today) ... but it still won't let me process a renewal.   I'm worried that the protection might "lapse" at some point.   Anyone have any ideas how to get around this?   Hard to believe they are making it this difficult to renew!

    May you send me a private message with your email address and router serial number for us to check further. May you also check to see if you're able to purchase the subscription tomorrow.

      I tried renewing ARMOR protection again today (one day after its official "expiration date".   I still couldn't complete the renewal purchase from the ORBI app on my phone (Android), but I WAS able to log onto the Netgear website and purchase it from there.    I then had to re-boot the ORBI router before the renewal update showed up in the phone app.   

       

      So, I guess I'm good for another year!   Hope I can remember all this by next year when the renewal comes up again.

  • Hi Tull1956,

    I'd like to also add that you need to make sure that you are using the same account/email on the app as when you first registered your router and your Armor trial. 

    This would avoid issues when activating Armor.
