Having all kinds of problems with my 8 month old rbr760 and my 3 month old cm 3000 modem.
Just to save some repetitious pandering...
- My ISP has been out twice and nothing wrong.
- Both my cat 6a and coax cables are all brand new.
- Firmware is up to date.
- Both the router and modem have been fully cycled many many many times to get them back working again (because they keep crashing...I can see the errors in the logs).
- I HAVE FACTORY RESET BOTH multiple times but everything still intermittently drops.
- Darn Armor which was never wanted says it's active, but I have it disabled.
As all of you here may expect...NetGear customer support was USELESS. Hard to understand reps and I was the one who had to suggest review of event logs, I was the one asking about channels.. basically the rep didn't have a clue. The customer 'lack of' support rep was just short and kept trying to push it on the ISP who had already been out twice.
Now I am trying to get the darn Armor software off of the router even though it's disabled because it caused Havoc on my last orbi when I accidently added it and wondering if that is the issue. I work from home and this has wrecked havoc on my work day for a week and a half.
Here we are... and as typical Netgear is responding behind the scenes with who knows what advice about the Armor and how to get it off instead of just sharing with everyone
