I have an old router which has been tossed out
Has anyone had any resolution to this problem? I'm in the same boat. I have an old router which has been tossed out, and I am not able to contact support, because in order to contact support you have...

In order to open a Support Case, as displayed on the Netgear page to Contact Support, and also in the very screen shot you posted, it states very clearly:
"Requires an entitled product or subscription".
My (old) product (which was registered and has a serial number) is no longer listed in the drop down menu (my current router and modem are), therefore I cannot choose the old item to get support.
I also do not have AirCard.
I also do not have a subscription.
The issue is that this old product (as explained by the OP) is still listed in my Netgear Armor dashboard.
I do not want it in my Netgear Armor dashboard. Why? Because it is in some landfill somewhere.
There is NO option to remove it.
I cannot create a support case or contact customer support for the reasons explained above.
I am going around in circles.
The EASIEST fix would for someone at Netgear to simply allow the option in the Netgear Armor dashboard, "TO REMOVE DEVICE". Not hard.

This feature is available, look here:
How do I remove an inactive or vulnerable device in NETGEAR Armor?
Admit, it's not in the App...

It's also not on the dashboard. I've looked, and looked. And then I've looked again. I just looked again now. There is no option. There are no 3 dots. It's not there.
To confirm, I am at armor.netgear.com.
I have logged in.
I am on the portal dashboard.
There is no option to "see all devices on this router".
There are no "ellipses".
There is nothing else on the Dashboard page besides a "threat indicator" and "security news"
If I go to "My Devices", I literally have NO options to do ANYTHING, except select which device I want to select. There is nothing under "Settings" and there is nothing under "Filter by" that allows me to delete this **** device.

Are you talking about an RS400? Or are you talking about a different router???

I have two routers. The RS400 is in the trash. Doesn't exist anymore. I don't have it and I don't have a subscription anymore (I used to, and it was registered).
I have another device, a newer one, which is 2 of 2.Every time I come to the dashboard, I have to select the other / new one. It's annoying. But it's more frustrating that Netgear can't figure out that users should be able to delete their old devices without having to pay for a subscription, of which I cannot anyways, because the device NO LONGER EXISTS.
