I have an old router which has been tossed out
Has anyone had any resolution to this problem? I'm in the same boat. I have an old router which has been tossed out, and I am not able to contact support, because in order to contact support you have...

I have two routers. The RS400 is in the trash. Doesn't exist anymore. I don't have it and I don't have a subscription anymore (I used to, and it was registered).
I have another device, a newer one, which is 2 of 2.
Every time I come to the dashboard, I have to select the other / new one. It's annoying. But it's more frustrating that Netgear can't figure out that users should be able to delete their old devices without having to pay for a subscription, of which I cannot anyways, because the device NO LONGER EXISTS.

Why is the RS in the trash?
You'll need to contact NG support, emai, phone or chat and have them help you out.
All this is beyond forum help.

The RS went the way of the dodo bird because it stopped functioning and went to the electronics heaven in the sky.
And to reiterate, I cannot contact support for this product, because when I go to the support page, I have to either enter the product that I own (I no longer own this product) OR have a subscription. Since I don't own the old product, nor have a subscription to the old product or the new product, I cannot create a support case, and thus cannot get support or call the phone number because I don't have a case.

Routers just don't stop functioning unless something phsycal happened to the unit or something was faulty. Would have been nice to know what was not functioning.
Anything with support and accounts needs to be handled by NG support. All this a beyond forum help. We do not have access to those services.
