R7000P Router Firmware V1.3.1.64_10.1.36 breaks Bitdefender Armor

After upgrading my R7000P router to firmware V1.3.1.64_10.1.36 I was asked to login to Netgear Armor, username password works. Then it asks if I want to activate a 90 day trial even though I have paid for Netgear Armor. It then displays a message:

The NETGEAR Armor security activation process failed due to some reason.

  • Hi stralytic, welcome to the community! Other users who have experienced the issue confirmed that a factory reset fixed it for them. That's something you can try if you haven't yet. The steps are described here.

Hi stralytic, may I know if you've performed the factory reset? Please make sure you are using the same logins/credentials when you initially activated Armor.
