RS700 Netgear Armor confusion….
Very confused with Netgear Armor. What exactly is this thing? My confusion lies with how it’s described. Is it full protection for all devices at the router level, including virus/malware protection?...

That would be a user choice. The general advice is to run only one anti-virus product on a system (Norton, Avast, McAfee, Bitdefender, etc.) If you want to stop paying for Norton and have decided to pay for Armor, you can install Bitdefender that is provided with Armor on devices which support it. ..... or not.
People have a wide range of opinions regarding how to protect their computing devices.

Netgear Armor at the router level, is it antivirus/malware protection as well for all devices on said network?

It will
- do vulnerability scans of the devices connected to the router
- actively monitor connections, and block ones it considers unsafe
(2) provides some protection against virus and malware. Also phishing. But it would be best to have AV/Malware protection on the devices as well.
