Adding a smart plug

How do I turn off the 5.0 so I can connect a 2.4 smart plug?

I have a MR60

the only MK series that you can seperate the SSID's is the 80 series.

But you shouldn't need to shut it off to connect a smart device.

Just have your phone on the 2.4ghz for setup. Some phones you can set a preference (and change it back afterwards), others you can just be far enough away and disconnect/reconnect.

As plemans says, you should not need to do this.

That sort of thing is down to sloppy programming by the people who write the installation software. Try asking them for help,.

Or tell us who made this smart plug. It may have cropped up here already and could show up in a community search.
