Android bypass password not working, windows bypass password is

Hi, don't know if I have the right forum, apolgies in advance.  My issue - 

I have netgear genie on my android, and on my pc.

Bypass works on pc.

Bypass doesn't work on my android.

Both bypass passwords are the same,

Message on adroid when I type in bypass password - "The password does not match the user name, please try again."

V frustrating, as this works on the PC.

Anyone from Netgear able to help with this?
