APP

I am using Nighthawk APP for my r6400. Can I add a second router from another second home location?

Please advise how.

Thank you

I don't follow what you are trying to do. Get at a different router by remote control?

    Visit the support pages:

    Support | NETGEAR

and feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

    Read the section Remote Management.

In its wisdom, Netgear has changed the name on the apps to Anywhere Access.

Yes - as documented. The device operating the App needs to be on the same local [W]LANnetwork as the router - you can't add it magically from remote for security reasons.

This answer may or may not have anything to do with the vague question in the first message.

I can certainly control two routers with the NIghthawk app. They are not on the same network.

      It is called Anywhere Access.
