Are NETGEAR Nighthawk app compatible to R6250 and EX6150

Hi, 

As NETGEAR Nighthawk app will replace GENIE app, it will be compatible to R6250 ans EX 6150? The compatibility chart does not show these two routers models.

    The Nighthawk app does not generally support extenders.

     

    Any devices that do not work with the Nighthawk app can continue to use the genie.

     

    To find which apps and programs support your device, visit its support pages and look for downloads.

     

    If you visit the support pages:

     

    Support | NETGEAR

     

    you can feed in the model number and find all the documentation for your hardware.

    To much, and bad, bad, bad marketing by Netgear. The Nighthawk App does _not_ replace the Genie App (and Genie programs for WIndows and macOS) for all routers.

    Which products support the NETGEAR Nighthawk app? (updated 09 April 2019) does continue to exist, and says "The following models are supported by the NETGEAR genie app: ..." and it list your R6250.

    Only a few nighthawk Mesh Extenders are supported by the Nighthawk App ... and in a somewhat different way. 

     

    Your EX6150 will continue to become visible on the Genie App, and you can continue "hop" over to it on the Genie App network map.
