cannot log in to my router...Plz HELP

i used to be able to log into my router through the genie now it wont .  this is the error message I get "NETGEAR rounter is not found or is not supported."  plz help, why is this so hard.? a dissatisfied customer

  • Without Genie's help. tried to log in manually by yourself, not the Genie? Netgear router ought to have a model number.

      1. What is the model number and firmware version of the router?

      2. What is the version of the NETGEAR Genie program?

      3. Have you tried using another device (smartphone, tablet, another computer)?

      4. Are you trying to access it locally or remotely?

        its just the NETGEAR genie...plain

         

        it wont log in from the genie itself nor will it log in using the ip way or even the remote way, they all just time out.   it used to work, i purchased it in 2012 could it be something expired and thats why?  if it its, thats very poor customer service for a product.
