You can try to change the LPC (Live Parental Controls) password through the forgot password option if you have access to the email that you have registered. You can go to https://netgear.opendns.com/sign_in.php.

No go ... it is useless ... nothing works ... I can go on line through a browser and access the router. But I cannot access the parental controls through Genie app .. also I cannot access router settings through Genie App. I can go to the router, 192.168.1.1 and put in admin and default password .. no problem .. Genie app is useless cannot access through it

1. What is the model number and firmware version of your device?
2. Please try using another device (Android, iOS, another computer).
3. Are you getting an error message? If yes, what is the error message?
4. Please try uninstalling and re-installing the app.
5. Have you tried resetting the router?

Yes indeed nothing has fixed the problem. I cannot log into the router through Genie.
I had a previous router and set up a unique password for parental controls.
The router was replaced and I can reach it through a browser however still cannot reach the parental controls.
If I could find were Genie hides the parental password I could reset it.
I have worked through the Terminal to dig under the hood to no avail.
Your help and follow up would be great
