Hi, thanks for the replies! I have a Netgear R6260 router that is connected to a DZS modem . I talked to my ISP (Global Net) and the IP in the External IP Address on the NightHawk app is correct. That is the private IP address that is part of the cgnet I am on. That traffic does route to their public IP address for the internet. They have not made any changes to their IPs.
Sling TV is thinking I am on a VPN as they are showing my IP address as 0.0.0.0. This started last Thursday, July 31st. I plugged my laptop directly into my modem, disabled wireless and I can successfully access Sling when the router is not a part of the connection. As soon as I switch back to wireless and connect to the router instead of the modem, Sling is no longer accessible. Sling is broken on Firestick TV, Apple iPhone and iPad as well as my Dell laptop. I checked sling on my parents wireless when I was a their house and can successfully access it. I've had Sling for several years and never had an issue. Was there a Netgear update last Thursday that changed something with my IP address?
The IP address for Netgear, 192.168.1.1 is marked as private on IP address websites. I am guessing Sling may be pulling this IP address from my router and hence thinking I am on a VPN? Thanks for any answers!

If that is a private address then they must be using CGNAT.
Is 192.168.1.1 the external address you are seeing for the router? Or is it the internal address?

Then the CGNAT must not be the problem. If it were, then it would also fail when connected to the modem.

Where are you seeing this info?

I don't have your router. The current firmware (version 1.1.1.88) is timestamped 2025-01-21 (so not that recent).
Did you try simply rebooting the router?
