"Firewall Rules" is missing from my security setting
I'm trying to adjust my inbound/outbound settings for my firewall for my Netgear N600 WNDR3400 but the only options available are "Parental Control", "Access Control", "Block Sites", "Block Services", "Schedule", and "E-mail". I've looked everywhere for the tab of "Firewall Rules" but I can't find it anywhere, plz help me.

There is no separate section called "firewall rules".
"Block Services" is a firewall function, as are the port forwarding/port triggering features described on page 78 here: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/WNDR3400V3/WNDR3400v3_UM_19June2014.pdf
There are a couple of other firewall-related settings - on page 39ff in the manual - port scan and DoS protection, putting a device in the DMZ, and NAT filtering.
What are you wanting to accomplish?
- BrandonL_43AspirantOkay, thank you because I've seen threads of people saying that you need to open the "Firewall Rules" sections but my router's webpage does not have that option but some NETGEAR routers do. I'm trying to completely turn off the firewall for my NETGEAR router as it is conflicting with the other firewall I already I have for my devices and the devices that don't need it are be restricted such as my PS4 having NAT Type 3 even after I have port forwarded and put it in the DMZ
You won't be able to turn the firewall completely off.
I don't have a PS4, so I can't help much. What is between your router and the internet? It should be some kind of modem or gateway modem. It might be creating these issues.
One test you can try (briefly) is to bypass the router and connect the PS4 directly to the ethernet output of the modem. Then see if you still have issues with the PS4.
- BrandonL_43AspirantThank you for the help. I have a Speedstream DSL modem provided by my ISP.
