Genie causes crashes to Blue screen on Win 7

I installed the newest version of Genie on my Windows 7 PC, and it ran ok the first time. But now whenever I open it up, it immediately crashes my Windows 7 PC and I get a blue screen. Anyone else with this issue?

    Hi joesc1,

    1. Please make sure that the OS is up to date.

    2. Have you tried re-installing the Genie app?

    3. Did the issue occur on the previous Genie version?

    4. Does the issue persist on your other computers?

    Regards,

      1. Yes, Win 7 OS is up to date. No items on Windows Update.

      2. Yes, same issue

      3. No, only after I installed latest version on 11/4

      4. This is my only Windows 7 system

I probably should have included my Win7 configuration. It's 64 bit Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1 with no available updates on Windows update.

      Thanks
