Genie crashes on startup on MAC

I have a mac min running OSxServer on El Capitain. I have installed the latest ( as of April 15th 2016 ) of Genie. It installs fine but crashes soon after displaying the home screen and before you can do anything.

 

I did have a previous version installed and that worked fine, but can not remember if that was on El Capitain or the previous version of OSx.

 

I do have Genie installed on another MAC running El Capitain, so it is definately a issue with the mac mini.

 

Ideas as to where to look welcomed.

    Please keep us posted on the result so that we can isolate the issue further. We are also investigating on this matter and will post an update when available. Any additional information and workaround is greatly appreciated.

  • The NETGEARGenie App for Mac keeps crashing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times. We're running OSX El Capitan Version 10.11.4. Any help would be appreciated.

      Hi juliegoldfinch,

       

      1. Are you able to install the app but the app ends up not opening?

      2. Are you getting an error message? If yes, please provide a screenshot.

      3. Have you tried installing on other OS X devices?
