Genie for Mac OS Not Supported on 32bit CPUs?
I recently bought a used 3800 router and trying to get it set up. I downloaded the Genie for Mac OS application from the dpwnloads website, installed it but when trying to run the application, I get the error message "NetgearGenie is not support on this type Mac".
I have a 2GHz Intel Core Duo iMac (32 bit) running OS 10.6.8. The Genie downloads page says "Genie for Mac OS 10.6 and higher" so maybe the problem is due to the 32bit processor.
I read through the Genie manual and no where does it list minimum hardware requirements.
Any recommendations, hints, or suggestions would be welcome.

I use Mavericks sand works fine...64bit... should support 32/64. - netgear_user_AspirantSame problem here:
Although it is possible to install Genie on Macbook 1,1 Intel Core Duo (32bit) with Mac OSX 10.6.8 [installation successful notification], when opening the application an error is shown:
"You can't open the application NETGEARGenie.app because it is not supported on this type of Mac." - FairytailVirtuoso
- jmizoguchiVirtuosoI don't link will help as OP already has mentioned 10.6 and older
