genie installer/updater not working with windows 10

Sister installed Windows 10 on her computer when prompted. Then, computer stuck and never would boot. The fix was to disconnect the Netgear Genie A6210. My son has this computer set up in a different room from the router, and Sister uses the Genie for internet. Windows 10 is working fine, but the Netgear Genie does not work, I guess, because even though the blue light is on, there is no internet access. I don't know how to download anything to reinstall because there is no internet on the computer. If you can help me, I would so appreciate it. You may speak to me as if you would a child and I won't mind because I am not a techie. Thank you.

    Hi Qjanis,

     

    1. Can the computer still detect the Wi-Fi signal from the router?

    2. Have you tried re-connecting it to the Wi-Fi network?

    3. You can try downloading the drivers for the A6210 using another computer and save it on a flash drive/thumb drive then transfer it to your sister's computer and have it re-installed. You may refer to the link below to the download the drivers.
