HP Deskjet 3054 printer will not connect to Netgear router R6220
Push button set up times out. Wireless light on printer shows available and blinks blue but times out every time.

Have you tried to manually enter the ssid and passphase of the your network in the printer and not use wps?

You are not alone when the wps button causes problems on hp printers.
- BobConAspirantAfter looking at everything you all sent and googling till my fingers were numb, I finally got it connected from an HP SITE OF ALL PLACES. Thanks to everyone for their help.
- IvalenAspirantMy router is not connecting to my HP office jet 8610. I believe there may be a glitch in an update. I disconnect router and printer works fine. I'm only having issues with HP printer and HP website. I've spend two whole days with HP and Netgear support on a conference call and they couldn't figure it out.

WPS method has time limit, if you activate WPS from printer, right away you activate WPS button at the router(software button or hardware button depending on model of router), If you don't accomplish this it'll time out. Or you can manually set it up from printer end using connection wizard. find your network(ssid) >> connect to it >> enter passphrase. After better give printer fixed ip address for less trouble in the future.
