Linking Xbox One Wired Connection NAT issues
Hello! I have a NETGEAR Genie R6400 wireless router. I have hooked up my Xbox One in the past when I first purchased this router and I had this same issue. When the Xbox is wired directly to the ...

Hello! Thank you for your quick response! Sorry I've taken a while, I finally tried this and was not successful. I've tried severl things to try and fix this problem, but have made no progress at all.
Here's whay I've tried.
Setting a static IP fo the XBOX and forwarding all the ports to that IP
Creating a DMZ around that IP
Turning UPnP on and off
Enabling VLAN/Bridge Setup to the port my XBOX is wired to
Changing my Internet Connection type to "Pass Through"
Tried to trigger the ports instead of forward them
And now I've tried to redo the IP and the Port forwarding and it's giving me an error message that reads "The specified port(s) are being used by other configurations. Please check your configurations of USB Readyshare, Remote Management, Port forwarding, Port Triggering, UPnP Port Mapping table, RIP, and Internet connection type"
Any and all help or responses again, are very welcomed. I'm about out of things to try. I don't know what else I could change on my router to fix this issue.
Thanks,
Hademtel

Thank you for your response searay! however, this did not work either. I triggered all the ports that were listed online as ports the XBOX needed, and that did nothing. Then I tried to trigger them straight to the IP of the XBOX, still no luck. Any other suggestions?

Hi hademtel,
1. If setting DMZ to the XBOX does not result in any changes in the NAT type, try bypassing the router and hard wiring the XBOX straight to the modem to check if the issue remains for isolation purposes.
2. As for encountering the conflict error when port forwarding, try disabling UPnP first then do the port forwarding.
3. Please do Address Reservation for the XBOX first before doing the port forward.
4. As suggested by searay, please try other firmware versions.

Dexter
