New device setup process feedback

Heres my feedback on the process of setting up a new device using the app!

First it super annoying as it treats as your dumb and never setup a new router before!

Lacks an skip button on all the wait screens like the waiting for the router to boot up after it tells you to unplug everything including your old router - which I had done before I even opening the app!

The only reason I used the app was because I didn't have an usb ethernet adapter to hand the setup process in the web admin panel on previous routers is much better experience well if you have any tech skills!

Why doesn't it update the router to newsiest firmware when it checks it only jump from initial reason to a couple newer.

Definitely needs an expert mode!!

Most users are average users and not advanced or highly skilled so the setup routine is for the more average user to make it as simple as possible.

There maybe reasons why there are no skipping. Ensuring that the process for the devices are completed for the alotted time frame.

If you don't have a USB to Ethernet adapter for WEB browser setup, thats up to you. You can install over wireless PC as well or find you a USB to ethernet adapter. There fairly cheap and handy to have.

Some new FW may not be put up on the auto update services for all to get. NG seems to roll out new FW in small batches these days so users may not see new FW till later on. So depends on age of router as well. Older models won't be updated more frequenty or at all. If the router is EoL then you won't see anything.

Best practice would be to set up a router using a PC and web browser, which I do all the time, then connect the NH app to the system. Takes seconds then your in on the app.

    Good Luck.
