Hi, my iphone app (Iphone 7 plus, last version of firmware of my MR60, and last version of the app). I have removed the app, installed again and same white screen after a few seconds. I can acces the rooter from my mac, no wifi problem. but no way to use the Nighthawk app again, MAC adress randomizers was disable also. on the iPhone. Please fix this problem I don't have all the Nighthawk feature in routerlongin.net in particulary the parental control stuff. The IP Address no longer appears when using Device Manager in the NightHawk app. It does show the MAC Address (but this isn't helpful to me). The business reason is I bring my work laptop home (daily) and it is set for DHCP so the IP Address will change from time to time so I try to remote into it with the last known IP Address but when that doesn't work (because a different IP Address was assigned) I used to go into the Nighthawk app, find the device name and click on it to get the new IP Address. It is no longer showing, instead it is only showing the MAC address. I don't care if the app will show both the IP Address and the MAC Address but I really need the IP Address to be shown (again). It used to show, not sure when it changed. What I have to do now is log into the laptop and do an ipconfig command which is a pain.109Views1like7CommentsNew device setup process feedback
Heres my feedback on the process of setting up a new device using the app! First it super annoying as it treats as your dumb and never setup a new router before! Lacks an skip button on all the wait screens like the waiting for the router to boot up after it tells you to unplug everything including your old router - which I had done before I even opening the app! The only reason I used the app was because I didn't have an usb ethernet adapter to hand the setup process in the web admin panel on previous routers is much better experience well if you have any tech skills! The Nighthawk APP is a mess, do we agree? I get a TIMEOUT that I can do nothing about once I see it. I also get an error on my Chromebook because its says the routerlogin.com work-around isn't a secure website. All your support and instructions say "use the NightHawk app" but it doesn't work!! And I see support telling people that "solutions don't happen overnight." Well how about within a month? Isn't that reasonble? If the tech team cannot fix an app in this time, how are they going to claim to be cutting edge on their technologies? I find this to be unacceptable and I am strongly considering returning my RS300 directly and using another company. The only reason I upgraded to a new router (RS300) is because you are ending support on my AC1000 that has performed flawless. (Credit where credit is due) It's been a minute since I needed to use the NightHawk App, but it's really disappointing to see the lack of urgency here. Since one month I am trying to Login with ID and password but each time error coming " Logon time out please try again , if issue persists, try rebooting your device" I have rebooted the device , uninstalled and installed mobile app but no use , also I off the private wifi address and Limit IP address Tracking but still no Use. I change the Password from web but no use , I am able to Login from Web but not from mobile. Pls. advise if anyone has solution or faced same issue . Hello Netgear. Having a difficult time as I cannot login to the app anymore because of immediate timeout? What is happening and how to change it fix this issue? I can sheet logon on a desktop but this app just stopped working. I need three app to let me back in. Does a Netgear mesh, which is plugged in somewhere else inn home, blocking this? Was working fine for past five years. What happened? Rebooting twenty times did not help. I have a NightHawk C7000v2 modem/router that will not work without my AC-750 Smart WiFi Router model R6400 and when I try to update the firmware that is out of date I keep getting "The information you are about to send is not secure" and won't allow me to update.
