79 TopicsNH App Features and Interface
Hello everyone. For some strange reason, I don’t have the ability to block devices from my Nighthawk app. Note I don’t share my cax80 or network with anyone so it’s not as if there is someone else who should have any access to my app. Although I have been dealing with an individual who has been compromising and hijacking my network and devices in the past. When I set up my network using the Nighthawk app, my interface has me under a home profile and within that profile any devices all I can do is pause them. Something tells me that that is a profile created by someone who possibly has control of mine admin login. I’ve verified that my device is registered under my email and my firmware is up-to-date so I’m not sure what’s happening. Any help would be greatly appreciated.23Views0likes1CommentOrbi app not connecting via Local or Anywhere Access, cant log in from PC as administrator.
I have an Orbi AX4200 RBR750 WiFi 6 router with two satellites, but I am unable to connect through Anywhere Access or locally. My Nighthawk CM2000 2.5Gb cable modem is connected to a Mediacom ISP 1Gb fiber line. I use Windows Defender across my iPhone, iPad, and PC, as well as the Windows Defender VPN on these devices. My PC runs Total Defense Internet Security Suite CE 25.4. I also use an iPhone 16 with iOS 26.0.1, accessing Anywhere Access remotely and Local access when on-site. The ORBI app version is 2.48.0.43. Oddly, the app shows that I am connected with a green dot under "Your Products" in Anywhere Access, but it then displays a message saying, "Device is Offline," which it is not. I am also unable to log in via Orbilogin.net or the IP address. My WiFi, ISP, and network are functioning fine, but I lack local or remote access to perform updates, reboot remotely, or check activity. Thanks in advance for any assistance in resolving or identifying the issue with connecting.27Views0likes5CommentsI have the app on my iPhone and it shows devices offline when they are online
I am having the same problem more than 3 years later with RBE871. What you suggest is not a solution. I have named all the devices and will not go back to square one. When is NETGEAR going to fix the problem. I’m having it with Windows 10 & 11 and with both Chrome & Edge browsers. I have the app on my iPhone and it shows devices offline when they are online. I’ve created a case #49279170. Once again, when is NETGEAR going to fix this problem.96Views0likes4CommentsRename MR90 in "Your Products"
Hi Everyone. I have a business and a home running Nighthawk Meshes. When I go to select those networks in the "Your Products" section of the Nighthawk App they are both named MR90. I would like to rename that MR90 to a specific name that will help me to distinguish them apart more easily. Is there a way to do that. The SSIDs are different but that does not show up when selecting them in the app. Only "MR90" and their serial numbers. Thank you for any help that you might give. I am attaching a screenshot to help.28Views1like1CommentOrbi App - device manager and remote access not working - iOS
I can only use the web interface. I have an orbi 870 and I cant use device manager or do remote access. The error is "Sorry your device list failed to load. Please try again later." I've done the power cycle, uninstall-reinstall app. Nothing works.Solved75Views0likes2CommentsORBI App Strange Message
I own an RBK853 ORBI system. Has been running fine for several years. Currently on V7.2.7.15_5.1.16 firmware. Had a power outage and rebooted my system yesterday. Went to use ORBI app on my iPhone this morning and got an odd message stating, "This Orbi is linked to a different account." My RBK853 system has been registered since 2023 and currently shows up in "My Registered Products". I get this page if I select "Fix This Issue". I'm not willing to do a factory reset just for ORBI app's sake. The web-based app is working fine. Any idea why this is happening? Are there any work-arounds? Thanks for your help!Solved154Views0likes13CommentsManaging devices
I just bought an orbi 770 plus one satellite. Setup was a breeze and the app installed on both my iPad and iPhone with zero problems so all in all I am quite pleased. There are, however, a couple of things that are confusing and I am hoping to get some clarity of from you guys. 1. We have a couple of iPads, one is showing up in the app as an apple iPad with a nice iPad icon. The other is showing as an iPad generic with a circle icon. 2. Both our iPhones are showing up the same way. What gives? The wifey’s iPad is an 11” iPad Pro and her phone is an iPhone 14 Pro Max. My iPad is an iPad Pro 13” and my phone is an iPhone 16 pro max. Hers are showing correctly mine are showing as the generic. the other irritation is I haven’t found a way to identify the devices in the list nor edit their descriptions unlike the Linksys this is replacing. I know which is which after I compared the MAC addresses but I would like to see Georges iPad and Gracie’s iPad so I know just by looking at the list. your thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. Cheers, RDJ44Views0likes4Comments
