Nighthawk app duplicating information

R8000 Nighthawk, EX8000 extender, EX7300 extender

When I change the information for the EX8000 extender, it duplicates the name and assigns it to the EX7300 extender.  I want the EX7300 to be named EX7300 and the EX8000 to be named EX8000. How do I fix this?

    Hi SherryJC, welcome to the community! What version is the firmware of the router as well as the Nighthawk app? Also, are you using the Android version of the iOS?

        This morning, the Nighthawk shows 6 devices as Ex7300. There is one EX7300, one EX8000, and one R8000. I never had this problem with the Genie app. Some descriptions I put in for other connected devices are now blank (---). How am I supposed to monitor or troubleshoot connections with this app?
