Nighthawk app not connecting

I have an EX6100v2 extender  and I can no longer connect it to my router through my iPhone. I continually get the "Unable to connect to router" message. There are 2 devices operating through the extender but i am unable to have it find my router.

  • I'm a little confused. You put there's 2 things operating through it but that you're unable to connect to it?

    Just would like to clarify that a little. 

    Also, what router are you connecting it to? 

    did you set it up using wps or using the installation assistant (through the browser)

      I set up the extender through the Nighthawk app. While the 2 devices I needed the extender for are connected through to the internet, I am unable to get the extender to connect to my router (FiOS Gateway).

        What fios gateway? some have they're own built in mesh function. I think its called self organizing network (son). 

        If yours has that, disable it.
