Nighthawk app

Is this really all that the app has to offer? I have a r7500 and the app does not offer very much compared to others I've seen. My buddy has a Asus app that allows him to do so much more? Do I just...

Set up is best done through the Web UI of the router, not via the app. The app is there to control stuff after set up.

    This approach only falls over with one or two things force you to use the App, like Parental Controls.

     

    You can't handle that in the GUI, much to the annoyance of some users.
