Hello, I am looking for a router that would have the ability using either a browser or mobile app, that would allow me to restart the wi-fi on an individual device. Right now, the router I am using I have to turn off wi-fi for all devices in order to restart the wi-fi on 2 cameras that have issues (long story). So I would like to just be able to select the device that would "appear not online" and restart the wi-fi, avoiding having to do this for the entire wi-fi system. Right now doing that with these 2 cameras fixes the issue. i can only control the priority of internet on these cameras, but i want to control the wi-fi connection to it. Does any router in the Netgear (home) space allow this to happen?449Views0likes3CommentsNighthawk app
Is this really all that the app has to offer? I have a r7500 and the app does not offer very much compared to others I've seen. My buddy has a Asus app that allows him to do so much more? Do I just try and log in through. PC instead? For information on what I'm trying to do I want to see all the capabilities of the router and make sure I'm not missing anything when setting things up for gaming.1.1KViews0likes3CommentsNighthawk iOS 2.7.2.19 Unable to Rename Devices

The one that says Kyle’s roku streaming device. I cannot figure out what it is. The app is on the second one (iPhone) now Kyle’s roku tv was wireless then I wired it that’s when it showed up. I don’t think there is a problem with it just trying to figure this out! Tried resetting and also restarting both tv and router to no avail.1KViews0likes2CommentsDisabling Devices Using Router App
In the past month something changed with the Nighthawk app and router settings online. When I disable a device, my son is still able to go on Google Meets. It used to disable all internet access. Why did this change? How do I take back full control so my son isn't chatting with his friends on the home iPad while doing virtual school by using the router settings?1.2KViews0likes1CommentParental Controls on Nighthawk App
I have a Netgear router purchased in 2018 that I set up with the Genie app including the parental controls. I haven’t done anything with it since but need to change the settings now. The Genie app isn’t supported anymore so I downloaded the Nighthawk one and can’t find the parental controls anywhere. It’s driving me crazy! Please help!1.6KViews0likes1CommentDisney Circle stops working frequently on R7000
Disney Circle Premium stops working frequently on R7000. The only way to fix it, that I've found, is to restart the router. My family is not happy, as they are often blocked from the internet. I setup my Circle environment originally with the free version, and took my time over a week or more to ensure that I'd setup all the profiles of my family correctly, with their assigned devices. Once I was happy that they were all configured correctly, I then purchased the Premium option to gain the extra features that I was so longing for! I left it a few days before turning on the Bed Time feature, and ever since then Circle will completely stop responding every couple of days or so, which then requires a router reboot. Whilst in this state, it usually locks out my family members who have a bed time set, but not for other profiles.which don't. Does anyone have a solution to this?... without having to constantly restart the router?7.3KViews0likes10CommentsReadyCLOUD not showing any attached drives in R7000
Hi, I've got a R7000 router with the latest firmware version (R7000-V1.0.9.32_10.2.34.zip) and my drives aren't shown at ReadyCloud through web interface. I've already tried everything I could imagine like: 1 - Reseting the router and configuring everything manually (not restoring config); 2 - Flashing the latest firmware again; 3 - Unregistering the router in ReadyCloud and registering again and so on. For me having access to my router through web interface is really important, because, besides being simple, I can also access my files and upload new ones from my work without installing any third party software. Can I do anything to solve this? I've noticed this issue has been constantly reported by many users in other posts. Maybe, it is firmware related and Netgear should solve it with an update.4.8KViews0likes10Comments
