Nighthawk r7000 and netgear genie.
Hello all,
I have registered my device with netgear, and I can see it on my account.
But when I try remote access with genie,
It says select router, but my router is not there?
Also when I login local and go to turn remote access on,
I get a message:
Enable failed
Incorrect request format try again.
Can you help guys
Thankyou

I'm having the same issue, just tried logging into my netgear genie app on my iphone and it cant find my router. Tried using my laptop and the same thing is happening, so frustrating. One of the main reasons I got this Nighthawk R7000 model was to remote access it and manage my settings.
- Dean_TutorIt was working fine last week, I reset the router and up graded to Firmware Version V1.0.9.6_1.2.19.
I can log in by remote management, but I'd prefere to see my router and use genie.- Dean_TutorHello all,
Had another go at genie this morning, went to remote access and now it is turned on by itself.
So then went to login by remote, it says select router, my router was there now. So continued, and worksđ.
The only downside I noticed, is I have renamed by devices, when I log in remote, it keeps the names of the original device.
So I might have to change that.
So try yours today and see what happens.
My genie app is iOS 3.1.28
