On Mac the Netgear Genie installer downloads every time I connect to the internet.

Hello,

I just reccently bought the Nighthawk X4S and I've noticed a problem. Although I've already downloaded the Genie app the router keeps making me download the installer over and over again. I had to delete over ten copies of the installer off my computer earlier today. I looked though all the setting on both my mac and the genie and I can't seem to find a soluton, it also doesnt seem like anyone on the internet has my problem (google searches). If anyone has any insignt I'd really appreciate it.

    Hi SadPatrol,

     

    1. Do you already have the Genie app installed?

    2. Does the issue persist every time you open a browser?

    3. How many browsers have you tried?

    4. Have you tried clearing the browser cache?

    5. Does the browser open to the NETGEAR Genie page every time?
