Parental Controls not working - Need Help

I recently purchased a AC1750 NetGear router... I'm having a problem with parental controls.  Initially I had a problem downloading and installing the Genie program, because I'm running Windows 10 on my laptop.  I was finally able to download and install the previous verison of Genie.  I created a free OpenDns account and selected the highest setting... (to test).  Then I went to google... searched for adult content sites and unfortunately was able to ALL of the ones I tried to open.  I purchased the router primarily for parental controls.. since I have a teenage daughter and teenage son... my wife and I want to restrict access to inappropriate sites, including all adult content sites... I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

    Hi Brian-Olney-MD,

    1. Are you also able to do the same with the other devices in the network?

    2. Please check the DNS values on the router UI and make sure they are set to 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.

    3. Please make sure that the Parental Controls feature is enabled on the Parental Controls status page on the NETGEAR Genie program.

    Regards,
