Printing using Netgear ReadySHARE Print function is not working.
I am unable to actually print from my laptop using the ReadySHARE Print funtion in the Genie.
I have followed the instructions and have the USB Control installed on my Windows 10 laptop and my Windows 7 desktop. The USB printer on my desktop is a Brother HL-1440.
(I have a HP Officejet 6740 wireless connection that is working perfectly using the router.)
The Brother printer is visible in the Devices and Printers section of my laptop and goes through the print selection steps but then nothing happens.
Any tips on how to make the connection using ReadySHARE Print?
Thanks!
Hi Danest48,
Please make sure that the USB printer is connected to the router's USB port and have the drivers of the printer installed on the computer where you want to print from (laptop). The link below may help out.
