I have an application running on a raspberry pi on my local network that is setup through a netgear router. To access this from the internet, I have set port 80 to be forwarded to the pi, which is causing a conflict since the web interface used to change router settings also uses port 80. I have tried to use a different port, but this causes issues, as the application I'm running needs a letsencrypt certificate that cannot use a different port number. I have searched for ways to change the port that the router's web interface connects to and found this link. https://kb.netgear.com/20600/How-do-I-enable-or-disable-Remote-Management-on-my-NETGEAR-router In step 6b it mentions changing the port, but when I go to the remote management setting (ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Web Services Management), the only option I see is a checkbox labeled "Always use HTTPS to Access Router". Does anyone know why I cannot see other settings on the web services management page? Is there some other way to change the port?1.3KViews0likes2CommentsSetup app with wrong email on my new router

Hey guys hoping someone can chime in. I have an issue with seeing my devices on the nighthawk app. Currently have 10 connected but only 2 show up. Some backstory. . .I had optimum internet and I was messing with the WiFi setting on the app. I blocked those 8 devices in order to not keep unplugging set devices. So at this point I was able to turn on and off. I had Verizon come in and install their internet to replace optimum. After installation. All 8 devices stop showing up. I was in panic because those 8 connected devices stopped receiving internet. After some refreshing and hopefulness lol all 8 devices appeared on the app and I quickly allowed internet. So all my devices work now. Here’s the remaining issue. . .only the 2 devices connected prior to Verizon show up. Everything else shows up on the website in access control. Anyway to get these devices to show up again on the app ?1.2KViews0likes5CommentsFix to issue with connecting to Wifi on Nighthawk routers
I recently moved, and with the move I treated myself to a Nighthawk RAX48 router. After setting up the router and getting literally every other device I have connected (PC, TV, Phones, Xbone, ps4) I was unable to get my switch connected to the internet. The little animation while connecting would show that I was connected to the router, but it showed a little red X from the router to the internet. After googling talking to Nintendo tech support I found my own solution. Log in to your router, not through the convenient Nighthawk app that comes with the router, but on a pc. Go into advanced settings, Security, and into Access Control. Turn access control off for a moment, and reconnect your switch to your WIFI, this time it should work. refresh everything, turn access control back on, but now in the list of connected devices notice that your switch is automatically set to blocked. edit that to allow, and apply setting changes.1.5KViews0likes0Commentsnighthawk app anywhere access failure
What is going on with Anywhere Access? I have multiple routers that was all working fine a couple weeks ago. I can’t enable, disable, or see my routers anymore. All it says is something went wrong. Please try again. Tried both routerlogin.net and nighthawk app for weeks now.Solved6.6KViews0likes8CommentsModel RAX48 - problem with Nighthawk
When I open Nighthawk, I see that the app connects to the router. Then a few seconds later, I get the "Unable to Connect to Router" message. I do not know why this is happening, as it seems to be connected, but this message keeps popping up. Any advice is appreciated.985Views0likes1Comment
