ReadySHARE Vault won't install

Model R6900P    firmware V1.3.1.26

Dell XPS 13   Win10 Home  64-bit  ver 1803  OS build 17134.112

running Windows Defender      logged in as admin in Win 10

 

Installed Netgenie and connects to router just fine. Tried to install ReadySHARE Vault. Downloads fine from Netgear site and install begins.  Looks like it's just about finished, shows "a little housekeeping ..." on the install screen, then just sits there. Any ideas why it won't finish the install?

    I have exactly the same problem. I can only reinstall the same outdated vault software version. Uninstalling the old software version followed by a fresh install doesn't solve the problem. So I cannot update the vault software. Computer Dell XPS9530 - Windows 10 Pro version 1803.
