Setting Time Period for Guest Network Via Genie App
Hi,
I have been using the Genie app with my R7000 and now my new D7800 NightHawk routers.
The Genie app is pretty good but one thing i cant get to work adequately is the Guest Network Time Limit.
When I turn on the Guest Network via the Genie app (on Android or IOS) it gives me an option for how long it should be on for.
I have set this Time Period to 1 hour but it never seems to turn off?
Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.

Hi GLO,
1. What is the firmware version of the device?
2. What is the NETGEAR Genie version that you have tried?
3. Have you tried setting it up using another device (Android, iOS, another computer)?
4. Does the issue persist no matter what time period you select?

Happy New Year DexterDB,
1. What is the firmware version of the device? I have tried several firmware versions on the D7800 including v1.0.1.16, v1.01.1.08, v1.0.0.48 and v1.0.0.38,
2. What is the NETGEAR Genie version that you have tried? DeskTop Genie Version 2.4.26, Android Genie Version 2.4.38, and IOS Genie Version 2.4.38
3. Have you tried setting it up using another device (Android, iOS, another computer)? Yes, I am actively using all 3 Genie App options. The Desktop version does not allow you to set a time period for the Guest Network
4. Does the issue persist no matter what time period you select? Yes, infact the only time period that works is the default setting : ALWAYS
The other options from the drop down are:
1 Hour
5 Hours
10 Hours
1 Day
1 Week
These options also did not work on my Nighthawk R7000 either.
Appreciate all help.
