The genie app doesn't show correct network map

The network map in the genie app doesn't reflect the actual connection. The Mac address of several devices are the same. Could anyone share how to resolve this?

    Hi Hckao,

    Welcome to the community!

    1. What is the firmware version of the router?

    2. What device do you have Genie installed on (PC, iOS, Android, Mac)? Also, please indicate Genie version.

    3. Does the issue persist on another device with Genie?

    4. Does the router UI Attached Devices list show the correct devices?

    Regards,

One of many problems with Attached Devices, the APIs used by the Genie and Nighthawk Apps - already the "unknown" does appear to be a problem of fetching the correct information from the router, therefore the write-back does fail. This community is full with similar complaints and reports. ChristineT we can't see that Netgear engineering does take (m)any actions on a wide band of routers, and on the Apps.

Since the last update on my r7000 it has messed up network mapping.
Log in and it shows... do anything at all it disappears and all bar 2 devices are now unknown.
Also messes up trying to edit a device and save.. it won't save.. Then if it does it doesn't show the activity as in the selection for activity let alone any actual activity
