UP for R6900v2 not working

Just updated firmware on my R6900v2 to 1.2.0.16_1..0.1.  

 

According to release notes  shown on theAdmin access, it included Interfacing with UP app.  AFter installation, I downloaded  and installed the UP app on my Galaxy S5 and it tells me the router is not supported by UP.

I uninstalled /reinstalled the app with no better results.

 

I have already installed and am quite happy with my router.  I just wanted to be able to use UP to acces and maintain it.

 

Why is it not working?

    Did you reset the router to factory settings after the firmware flash?

    New firmware sometimes introduces changes that are not compatible with the old configuration. The Up App is a new way of doing things which may explain the need for a reset.

    While it isn't guaranteed to fix problems a factory reset is the first thing to try if you have issues with new firmware.
