Wireless Router let WLAN devices into internet, but not in local network

Hello,

I got a problem with our AC1200/R6220. The internal WLAN is configured only with 2.4 GHz online, no guest accounts. All WLAN accessed devices are connected to the internet, but devices in the internal network aren't accessible, e.g. our printer. With the same device connected with cable, the printer is accessible.

A ping to the router's IP address fails, too, if device is in WLAN, a ping to some internet address is successful.

DO I have some problems in configuration or is there another idea for troubelshooting?

Thanks for help

  • Hi mh-bfactor,

    1. What is the firmware version of the router?

    2. Have you tried resetting the router to factory defaults?

    3. Have you tried re-flashing the latest firmware?

    4. Do you have any static IP address configures to any of your device/s?

    Regards,

      Hi,

the current firmware version is V1.1.0.34_1.0.1

Reset to factory defaults did match it, sorry for asking. The settings are the same as before, but now I can send a ping to our static IPs and to the router.
