Boots up once plugged in, then goes to Meural logo page for a few seconds, then blank

Hi, my meural canvas II has the exact same problem as plemans described.

Boots up once plugged in, then goes to Meural logo page for a few seconds, then blank. When blank, it means no backlight, nothing.

Tried factory reset via using the pinhole next to the SD card slot. it simply repeats the boot up sequence I described, but twice by itself.
