Meural Canvas II MC327 issues connecting to wifi
As stated above, I have a Meural Canvas II MC327. It simply does not connect to wifi.
Within the app it just shows "Offline" or that I need to restart WiFi. It's been a while since I've had this displayed and only recently pulled it out of storage. Now I want to update it but I'm unable to. Since I haven't connected it for a few years, only the manual connection works (no QR code).
Here's what I've already done:
- factory reset of the hardware
- deleted the app on my iPhone and re-installed
- used a new device that has never connected to the Meural
- deleted the canvas from the app
- removed my firewall
I've read all the help posts here, even connected it to my 2.4GHz network. Still no luck.
Would love some help here. Thanks.

Hello oguser,
Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!
I understand that you are having difficulties connecting your Meural Canvas to your Wi-Fi.
Please follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
- Open Meural app
- Navigate to settings
- Canvas Settings
- Remove Canvas From Account
- Then add the Meural Canvas back to your account. (This process will have you connect to the Meural Canvas Wi-Fi. Once connected follow the rest of the walkthrough. If you get an error message stating that you have been disconnected and have the options "Try again and "Continue", navigate to the Wi-Fi you designated for your Meural canvas in your Wi-Fi settings then connect to it. After connecting to the same Wi-Fi your Meural Canvas is connected to switch back to the app and press "Continue".)
- At this time your Meural Canvas will sync and enable you to control it via meural app through Wi-Fi.
Best,
Kevin

Thanks for the reply.
I've tried your process multiple times. The error message I get now after hitting "Continue" is that it tells me my Canvas is offline and I need to restart the WiFi service. I follow the steps to restart the service on my canvas and try again, unfortunately, I'm not sure what I can do at this point. I've already done a hard reset on the canvas itself so I've lost whatever collections I put together.
Would still like further assistance because this hasn't been solved. Thank you.- KevinLiTNETGEAR Moderator
Hello oguser,
Thank you for your post!
When you get the error message that your canvas is offline, navigate to your Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device. Then connect your mobile device to the Wi-Fi network that you connected to your Meural Canvas. Now, navigate back to your app and press continue.
Best,
